Video Poker is a card based video game, very similar to Five Card Draw Poker. The objective is to make the best Poker Hand possible with 5 cards. The Video Poker game in CnR is Jacks or Better, so a pair of Jacks or Better pays off.

You select the amount of money to play for before beginning a game. The payout is always based on your bet, so betting more means you win more.

When you start the game, you receive 5 cards. You can then decide which of these cards to keep or discard. Once you have decided which cards to keep, the other cards are each replaced in one draw.

Your resulting 5 cards must make the best poker hand possible. The following table lists the different poker hands and their payouts.

  • Jacks Or Better: Any pair of Jacks or higher
  • Two Pair: Two pairs
  • Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank
  • Straight: Five cards of sequential rank (2-3-4-5-6)
  • Flush: Five cards of the same suit
  • Full House: A Pair and A Three Of A Kind
  • Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank
  • Straight Flush: Five cards of sequential rank, all of the same suit
